Is Exercise Important For Weight Loss?

You may have tried joining your local gym in the past, in an attempt to lose weight, only to find that it wasn’t terribly effective.

Now, don’t get me wrong, exercise is very important for weight loss, but you must be making cutbacks in your diet, too.

If your diet is filled with all the wrong foods, or you consistently reward yourself after a “good” workout with cream filled cake, you will never get lean and in shape.

Take a look at your diet… is it filled with breads, cereals, cake, cookies, take away, and soft drinks?

These foods do nothing to help you get lean. And, if you think slogging for an hour at the gym is going to counter your bad eating habits, think again!

A healthy, whole food diet will help your body to burn fat more effectively, and that will help you to lose weight more easily.

Try eating more lean proteins, lots of vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit and dairy, and also drinking lots of plain water.

If you also match this with some interval and strength training exercises, you will be amazed by the results you can get in a short amount of time.
